Last year, State Troopers made 146 DUI arrests and stopped nearly 5,000 drivers for speeding over the holiday weekend. This unfortunately was not enough to stop the 277 collisions that the Troopers also responded to.

Increase Presence; Increased Safety

This added presence will hopefully decrease the amount of reckless behavior on the roads, including excessive speeding, while hopefully providing an incentive for people not to drink and drive.
